Global Rail Australia is part of the Global Infrastructure Group and is a leading provider of services to clients across a range of track, engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
The Group employs over 500 people worldwide and currently has offices in Launceston, Melbourne, the UK, and Ireland.We are currently looking to recruit a Rail Supervisor to work on upcoming projects in Tasmania.The Rail Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of rail infrastructure projects in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.This role will be site-based at Western Junction and will include regular travel throughout Tasmania.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordination with the Project Manager to deliver successful rail projects as requiredAbility to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersEffectively assigning tasks to your team membersMonitoring project progress against the programmed and budget targetsEnsure all works are completed in accordance with client standardsPlan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectivesProvide guidance and training to junior staff and contractorsRequirements to be considered for this role:Proven experience in the rail industry, preferably with a focus on rail constructionTPO/PIC qualificationsWhite Card (Construction Induction Card)Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW)5 years experience in RailCertificate 2 in Rail InfrastructureCertificate 3 in Track Hand Back QualificationsCAT 1 MedicalMust be a team player and have a positive attitudeAdhere to all Work Health and Safety proceduresAttractive salary will be offered for the right candidate.We offer a supportive and positive team environment, and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major player in the Tasmanian Rail Industry.If this sounds like the role for you, please APPLY now with your CV.
