Rail Supervisor – Tasmania

Global Rail Australia is part of the Global Infrastructure Group and is a leading provider of services to clients across a range of track, engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors. The Group employs over 500 people worldwide and currently has offices in Launceston, Melbourne, the UK, and Ireland.
We are currently looking to recruit a Rail Supervisor to work on upcoming projects in Tasmania.
The Rail Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of rail infrastructure projects in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.
This role will be site-based at Western Junction and will include regular travel throughout Tasmania.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordination with the Project Manager to deliver successful rail projects as required
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Effectively assigning tasks to your team members
Monitoring project progress against the programmed and budget targets
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with client standards
Plan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectives
Provide guidance and training to junior staff and contractors

Requirements to be considered for this role:

Proven experience in the rail industry, preferably with a focus on rail construction
TPO/PIC qualifications
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW)
5 years experience in Rail
Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure
Certificate 3 in Track Hand Back Qualifications
CAT 1 Medical
Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
Adhere to all Work Health and Safety procedures
