About the role Our ever-growing Rail Operations business unit based in Seven Hills, NSW are currently seeking a Rail Signalling Commissioning Manager/Engineer with Sydney Trains experience.

Key responsibilities Develop Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning procedures and processes to ensure that they meet all relevant current TfNSW standards. Tracking costs and managing subcontractors. Manage the overall application of these individual project strategies through to the successful handover of each project to Clients & Stakeholders. Manage the competencies of Laing O'Rourke testing and commissioning resources and ensure appropriate resources are allocated. Undertake compliance reviews and audits for all testing and commissioning work undertaken by Laing O'Rourke. Assess and manage the training requirements of Laing O'Rourke Testing and Commissioning resources, including the sharing of lessons learned from each delivered project. Assess the operational readiness of each project to ensure the project is suitable for hand over to Clients & Stakeholders and is ready to be brought into operational use. Provide reports on progress, issues and status of all relevant activities. About you (required experience) Minimum of 10 years railway signalling, site testing and commissioning experience. Exposure to managing teams for delivery phase of Testing and Commissioning. Preparation of Testing and Commissioning documents – strategy, methodology, work package, procedures, reports, SWMS, JSEAs, etc. Sydney Trains and/or ARTC relevant Statement of Competency- Signalling Engineer/ Tester in Charge/ Commissioning Engineer required.
