Jacobs Perth rail team is growing, and we are hiring a Rail and Civil Lead .
The Rail and Civil Lead is responsible for providing and leading consultancy services, engineering services, technical input, and direction in design in the ANZ region.
The role will work alongside Principal Engineers, providing project delivery, design management and project management.
The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
The role will support the management of the team, in terms of team development and growth, building design capability and growing the works portfolio.
Key to this role will be the leadership and interface with GID (Global Integrated Delivery) centres to improve capability to meet the targets.
In this role, you will deliver technically excellent designs and provide efficient and innovative consultancy services to our reputed clients.
Drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and develop/support win themes.
You will develop and maintain strong key client relationships, act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients.
Represent the team at key thought leadership events.
You will collaborate closely with Jacobs client management team to identify emerging opportunities with the key clients.
You will provide design management functions on projects and maintain compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process.
Facilitate the technical development of more junior resources to meet market requirements.
The successful candidate may also have an opportunity to work as Team Lead to then upskill operations management aspects further while leading the technical delivery front.
Here's what you'll need Bachelor in Civil Engineering Previous experience working on multidisciplinary transport and general civils infrastructure projects, with medium and high complexity, with a preference for rail industry experience Significant knowledge and breadth of civil engineering aspects in transport engineering concepts and tasks Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external Jacobs.
