Raging Waters Sydney - Maintenance Administrator About the role:

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Administrator role is to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within Raging Waters Sydney.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all maintenance operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
The Maintenance Administrator will work closely with the maintenance team, contractors, and other departments to ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks and activities.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using Hexagon EAM.
Manage maintenance records, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Prepare and present maintenance reports to management.
Raise and manage purchase orders and requisitions using Workday, ensuring timely and cost-effective ordering in accordance with budgeted outlines.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services, ensuring proper scheduling to avoid disruption.
Communicate maintenance schedules, updates, and activities to relevant stakeholders.
Liaise with various departments, including Facilities, Food and Beverage, and Operations, to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption.
Create and review staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all maintenance activities.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies and materials.
Ensure all purchases and inventory management align with budgetary constraints and organizational policies.
Track and manage maintenance expenditures, assisting in budget preparation and cost-saving initiatives.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
Respond to maintenance requests and issues in a timely manner.
Promote proactive hazard/near miss reporting.

System Management:

Maintain and manage Hexagon EAM for all maintenance activities and asset management.
Utilize Microsoft Office 365 for documentation and communication tasks.
Use On Location Visitor Management for coordinating contractor compliance, visits, and access.

Training and Development:

Assist in developing and reviewing training guidelines for maintenance staff.
Coordinate training sessions to ensure staff are adequately trained and updated on the latest maintenance practices and safety protocols.
Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements to enhance staff performance and safety.

Preventive Maintenance:

Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure the health and longevity of assets across the park.
Properly schedule contractors and preventive maintenance works to avoid disruptions and ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and facilities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of administrative aspects of facility upgrades and renovations.
Support the maintenance team in handling emergency maintenance situations by coordinating resources and documentation.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to administrative processes within the maintenance department.
Ensure that maintenance documentation, tools, and equipment records are in good order.
Provide administrative support to other departments with maintenance-related tasks and projects as needed.
Prepare and distribute internal communications regarding maintenance activities and schedules.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance-related initiatives and projects.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
Report WHS incidents, injuries, and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
Promote proactive hazard/near miss reporting.

Requirements:

Education:

Desirable: Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in project management or maintenance management are a plus.

Languages:

Fluent English

Skills:

Ability to learn and apply park best practices to maintenance and operations.
Ability to prioritize projects in real-time with the park's best interest in mind.
Ability to interact effectively with a diverse array of guests and team members.
Ability to problem-solve and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Willingness to work in a high-performance team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and maintenance management software.
Experience in coordinating with vendors and contractors.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to prepare and present reports.
Experience in managing inventory of supplies and materials.

Experience:

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within maintenance or facilities management.
Experience with maintenance management software and ERP systems.
Experience in coordinating with multiple departments and external vendors.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Desirable: Experience in a waterpark or amusement park environment.
