We are currently looking for a: About the role: A Facilities Team Member Level 1 provides basic standards of knowledge in inspecting and testing attractions for safety and reliability as well assist with pool maintenance and water chemistry balancing.

Facilities Team Members will perform slide testing, water quality management, and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are presented in a safe, clean, and tidy condition.

Roles & Responsibilities: Competently inspect and test all attractions and equipment as per specified inspection criteria. Maintain a basic knowledge of all attractions, their components and use. Document inspections and test results by completing work orders and logbooks. Ensure that all the inspection check procedures put in place by the Company are followed during every inspection. Clean the Attraction Surfaces including areas leading up to the attraction. Inspect, test & repair all tubes ensuring compliance with specified criteria. Ensure all attractions are fully stocked with tubes every day. Maintain water quality standards to ensure compliance with NSW regulators. Have a basic understanding of pool chemical parameters and standards and how to maintain these ensuring a safe swimming environment. Read & record automated dosing system results as per work order criteria. Complete hourly Testing and balancing of pool chemicals. Carry out daily filter bumps as per work orders or under instruction. Ensure all relevant equipment is maintained to the highest standard. Ensure all work orders are completed within scheduled timeframes to guarantee a consistent standard of workload output. Actively report Corrective Maintenance in a timely manner. Ensure use of all relevant safety equipment. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations and Australian standards. Report any issues that may affect operations immediately. At times carry out delegated duties requiring little or no supervision. Assist other areas within the Facilities department as well as the park when needed. Assist with general cleaning of the park and grounds as seen to be necessary and as directed. Assist with pressure washing duties outside of park operating hours as directed. Assist with overall park cleanliness including sweeping, trash pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying trash cans, maintaining picnic areas, maintaining birthday & cabana areas, work areas, and restrooms. Ability to recognize problems and make decisions that could be implemented to help resolve the problem. Issues of a serious nature should be referred to the Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Technician or Director of Facilities. To carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the Facilities Technician, Facilities Manager, Director of Facilities, and any member of the Management Team. Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment. Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours. Report WHS incidents, injuries, and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs. Promote proactive hazard/near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director. Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety. Requirements Education: Essential Attraction Inspection Essentials Training (provided by Raging Waters Sydney) Desirable Manual Handling Training Confined space training Working at Heights training Tower Climbing & Rescue Training Manual Drivers Licence Forklift licence A current NSW Swimming Pool Operations certificate or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Languages: Fluent English

Familiar with Australian Standard - AS3533. Desirable Knowledge of Infor Enterprise Asset Management software. External: Guests / Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners

Any other relevant comments: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, early morning starts (from 5am), evenings, and public holidays. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy. Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates. Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work. To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team. Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements. Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only permitted by the applicable legislation of the jurisdiction.
