We are currently looking for a: Raging Waters Sydney - Attractions Technician
About the role: An Attractions Team Member provides high standards of knowledge inspecting and testing our attractions for safety and reliability.
They perform cleaning and maintenance requirements in order to present the attraction in a clean and tidy condition.
You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work as part of a team, be self-motivated and professionally presented.
Roles & Responsibilities: Competently inspect and test all attractions as per specified inspection criteria.Document inspections and test results by completing work orders and logbooks.Ensure that all of the inspection check procedures put in place by the Company are followed during every inspection.To carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the Attractions Team Leaders, Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Manager and any member of the Management Team.Actively report Corrective Maintenance in a timely manner.Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard.Ensure all work orders are completed within scheduled timeframes in order to guarantee a consistent standard of workload output.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations and Australian standards.General cleaning of the park and grounds as seen to be necessary.Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Facilities department.Report any issues that may affect operations immediately.Follow all procedures in line with the RWS Employee Handbook & WHS Policies & Procedures.Report hazards, near misses, injuries and incidents.Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.Cooperate with Management and other team members to ensure the workplace is safe.Remediate Attraction Caulking.Service Attraction Surfaces.Clean Attractions.REQUIREMENTS Ability to recognise problems and make decisions which could be implemented to help resolve the problem.
Issues that of a serious nature should be referred to the Facilities Supervisor or Facilities Manager.Familiar with Safe Work Australia Guide for amusement devices.Infor Enterprise Asset Management software.Familiar with AS3533.Skills in handling various equipment.Knowledge of all attractions and their components and the use of same.Ability to work both on an individual team basis, within a set timetable and in a team environment to change and competing demands.Commitment to quality and customer service delivery.Ability to embrace change in an environment of resource constraint.Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner.Excellent written/verbal communication skills.Friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to address staff/guest concerns.Willing to work in a high performance team environment.Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Some shifts can start at 5am and finish as late as 9pm (not in the same shift).Be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.At times carry out delegated duties requiring little or no supervision.Customer service skills.Strong conflict resolution skills.Fluent in English.Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organisation.To be able to relay accurate information and advice to customers in a pleasant and helpful manner.The ability to effectively communicate and relay information to other staff members.Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.
