The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre seeks a part-time 48 hours per Fortnight (0.6 FTE) Radiopharmaceutical Sciences (RPS) Program Manager to join our innovative RPS program.
Working directly with the Chief of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, this senior role combines project management, business development, and stakeholder engagement to drive departmental initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in health/scientific discipline with project management expertise, minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare or scientific settings, and strong skills in business case development and stakeholder management.
Experience in nuclear medicine or radiopharmaceutical sciences is desirable.

The RPS Program Manager plays a vital role in driving departmental initiatives under the direction of the Chief of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences (CRPS) and is supported by the executive team.
This senior position emphasizes effective project management, business development, and stakeholder communications.
The manager will work closely with the Operations Director and Medical Director of Cancer Imaging to ensure alignment with departmental objectives and broader Cancer Imaging goals.

Experience in developing business cases and grant submissions Experience within and a strong understanding of hospital and/or medical research environments Excellent customer service skills, able to communicate with a broadband range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated skills in the use of IT systems, in a health care setting.
High level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite and other online tools to facilitate teamwork.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations Key Accountabilities 1.Managing the growth and development of the Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Team Members program Maintain relationships with relevant Radiopharmaceutical Sciences team members stakeholders & identify and develop new ones.
Development of collateral material for the program, this could include the creation of slide decks for education sessions, business meetings and or marketing of our program.
Actioning any customer or client enquiries promptly and notifying the relevant internal people.
Contributing to continuous improvement, through identification and implementation of new ideas designed to improve our practice.
Assess situations or information, clearly and accurately communicate information, and make recommendations to line management.
Communication management ensuring team members and stakeholders are well informed about program activities.

Providing Team Support Provide a high level of customer service to staff and relevant stakeholders related to the Radiopharmaceutical Sciences team members program.
Providing required administrative support to the team which may include travel arrangements, invoicing etc.
Creation of supporting materials for education and business meetings.
Work cooperatively as part of the team and assist other areas and staff as necessary.
Supporting oversight oversight and management of existing projects 3.
Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Team MembersProject Management and Business Development Accept responsibility for management of bespoke department/organisational projects to support growth of clinical and research programs in line with Cancer Imaging pillars Create / build on current database of key contacts and keep up to date with the latest correspondence for external contacts relevant to RPS.
Forge new relationships and partnership with suitable organisations.
Assist with expansion of the RPS program.
Stay up to date with latest news and events related to Radiopharmaceutical sciences team members 4.
Radiopharmaceutical Sciences team members Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead the team to implement appropriate solutions with support from CRPS.
Development and implementation of processes/procedures.
Liaise with RPS team to trouble-shoot any issues experienced in a timely manner to ensure quality is maintained.
Manage social media presence ensuring website and other social media platforms are up to date and portraying correct messaging.
Grant proposal development and management Develop, manage and oversee budgets to ensure compliance with funding agreements and milestones as well as reporting.
