Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.
About the role The Paediatric & Obstetric Imaging Fellow is responsible for assisting in the provision of Medical Imaging services at Women's and Children's Hospital under the guidance of a Consultant Radiologist.
This is a Fellow Position for a Radiologist who has completed 5 years of accredited training.
The Fellow will have access to meetings, lectures, tutorials and research facilities in the Department.
They will also be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
The Fellow will undertake research projects and audits in relation to Paediatric & Obstetric Imaging and will be encouraged to present at national and international meetings.
They will be an active participant in the relevant Clinical and Multidisciplinary Meetings.
The Fellow will encourage and support teamwork and ongoing training amongst staff to optimise the level of service and its diagnostic accuracy.
The Fellow will take part in an evening, weekend and public holidays out-of-hours registrar roster as a senior registrar.
Qualifications Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.Obtained a Specialist Qualification and is registrable as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.About us Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
