About the Role The consultant will be expected to be competent and experienced in broad aspects of radiology to a level for safe, independent consultant practice, including DEXA, NM and PET/CT, plain film radiography, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, CT and MRI, including procedural skills in general radiology.
Competency in Abdominal Imaging and MRI would be desirable. Broad range of MR knowledge and experience to a level for independent consultant practice, magnet supervision, protocol development and clinical service growth is also expected.
Classifications for this position will range from HN16 - HN56 OR HN18 - HN58 dependent on Level of Experience + an additional over award of $100-$125 per hour.

St Vincent's Medical Imaging Department St. Vincent's Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a tertiary imaging department providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services to SVHM's inpatients and outpatients. St Vincent's Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites:
Medical Imaging Department (MID) St Vincent's Private Radiology (SVPR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging Centre (MRI) Positron Emission Tomography Centre (PET). Working at St Vincent's St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service. The Imaging department provides 150,000+ image guided therapies yearly across campus to support and facilitate the quaternary services provided by SVHM. All diagnostic modalities are offered, including PET/CT, which is fully integrated into the Medical Imaging Department.
