Location: Townsville The Radiographer will:
Deliver medical imaging clinical service as a member of a multidisciplinary/ modality team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health. Work across a range of modality services within Imaging under direction from senior clinical leaders. We are seeking radiographers with known experience in Emergency, General Radiography, and advanced modalities.Provide education and impart knowledge to staff, patients, and the public regarding the clinical and safety considerations specific to medical imaging and provide a patient focus to the performance of duties.The ideal applicants will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Personal Integrity: a strongly held sense of commitment to openness, honesty, inclusiveness and high standards in undertaking this leadership role.Self-Awareness: demonstrated ability to know own strengths and limitations and understand own emotions and the impact of behaviour on others in diverse situations.Communication: highly developed personal and effective communication skills.Collaborative Working: a strong commitment to working and engaging constructively within the team environment.Leadership: demonstrated ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to provide guidance to less experienced staff members and education to students. What's the Townsville Hospital and Health Service has to offer... Generous remuneration package value up to $132,730 p.a. comprising:Salary range of $2941.70 to $4459.00 p.f. or $38.70 to $58.67 p.h. Candidate Requirements: Mandatory: The applicant must:Hold current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA),Hold a tertiary qualification specific to medical imaging,Be eligible for Queensland Radiation Use LicenceDemonstrate evidence of professional development activities.Australian Society of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (A.S.M.I.R.T) Certification in either MR, CT, Angiographer (Cardiac and Vascular), Mammography, or Preliminary Image Evaluation (PIE).This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
