We currently have multiple positions available for a Radiographer to join our team here at East Grampians Health Service, with both Full and Part Time permanent contracts available.
About Us East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships.
We are committed to providing quality care and services that meet the needs of the community, whilst continuously striving for improvement and aiming to lead the way in provision of health related services:
The medical Imaging department is located at the main site in Ararat.
It supports EGHS clinical service by offering services in CT, Ultrasound, OPG and General Radiology and Theatre Imaging to both acute patients and the community.
In practice, you will work in a team including Radiographers and Sonographers supporting our 24/7 on call roster across weekdays and weekend and with support from our excellent administration staff.
EGHS also provides services to our local Medical Practitioners and the Department of Justice Corrections Centre at Ararat.
Why you'll enjoy working with us Full time or Part time permanent roles availableRegional Lifestyle – explore our regionA variety of employee benefitsOngoing professional development and career opportunities Enterprise Agreement – Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single interest employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026Ongoing professional development and career opportunitiesSalary packagingFully supported accommodation for 12 weeksIndemnity insurance through the health serviceRelocation reimbursements as agreedAbout this opportunity The Radiology team provides services from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and 24/7 on call over weekendsAs member of this skilled and professional team you will be encouraged and supported to participate in continuous professional development programs to further consolidate your skillsThe service uses Comrad and InTeleviewer software.Produce high quality diagnostic images that are reasonably achievable given the patient condition and in accordance with the ALARA principlesDemonstrate extensive or special knowledge, experience and competence in the required Radiology specialist modalities.CT experience preferredAbout You Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or recognised equivalentAHPRA Registration – or able to obtainVictorian Radiation "Use" LicenceDemonstrated high level experience and skills in general radiography, CT, PACS and RISWillingness and ability to participate in the 'on call' roster during the week and weekends.Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
