They are required to apply specialist technical knowledge and advanced clinical problem-solving abilities to resolve imaging system clinical or workflow issues across the West Moreton Hospital and Health Services.The position is accountable for the delivery of specialised medical imaging services while providing a leadership role in the professional team.The role is the reference point within and outside West Moreton Health at a state and national level, providing clinical expertise and authoritative clinical advice for clinical systems.About YouOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:Expert level of Medical Imaging and Radiology Informatics systems administrationAbility to provide advanced level data analysis and statistical reports to support service quality and performance monitoring objectivesAbility to contribute to the strategic direction of a healthcare team operating at one or more sites within the West Moreton Hospital and Health ServicesDemonstrated advanced clinical leadership including clinical practice supervision/education and contribution to the professional competence of medical imaging practitionersAbility to provide authoritative counsel and a high level of communication and negotiation to stakeholders on matters falling within their given area of responsibilityAbility to provide strategic and operational management to the medical imaging team and manage the development of high-level service improvement initiatives, including allocation of resourcesAbility to manage a team and develop clinical and professional standards on a Health Service basisMandatory Requirements:Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of AustraliaLicensing with the Radiation Health DivisionWest Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the southeast corner, with community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
