Location FlexibleDrive the implementation of the Radio National Network strategyThe Role This key role will see you drive content development and innovation, editorial planning, training and content gathering for ABC Radio National across multiple platforms.
You will deliver programming that aligns with the Network's strategy and ensure ABC Radio National remains a leader in thought-provoking and distinctive programming for Australian audiences.
The Job Provide editorial leadership in planning, production and distribution to create distinctive and compelling content across all platformsLead and develop the team to achieve a shared understanding and commitment to team objectives, and to build and maintain a collaborative and high-performance culture.Manage a comprehensive air-checking program to help on-air and producer talent perform to the highest standards.Drive the implementation of the Radio National Network strategy, including the mission to be more live on our linear schedule, to grow target audiences.Identify content that can be shared with other content teams in the Content Division and across the ABC on multiple platforms.About You You are passionate about the issues Radio National's audience are interested in and have experience in leading a team, providing coaching and mentoring.
To be successful in the role you'll also be able to demonstrate:
