Radio Frequency Engineer

Our client is seeking an RF Design Engineer with experience in modern digital communications systems including one or more of the following: Combat Net Radios, HF/VHF or UHF Radios, Tactical Data Radios, Terrestrial and Aerial Range Extension Equipment, Radio Relays, Broadband systems, and SATCOM systems.
Candidates must have a track record in design & development and test & evaluation in complex RF design engineering.
The Role: Design, test, and evaluate RF technologyEnforce design, system, and specifications as requiredPerform design simulation, debugging, and analysis of RF componentsManage component selection, schematic design, and PCB layoutInitiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channelsProvide subject matter expert advice on tactical data distribution systemsExperience Required: Engineering Degree in Electronics or ElectricalExperience in design & development and test & evaluationExperience in Defence Radio engineeringA track record in design and testing PCBs for RF, analogue, and digitalExperience working within a full product development lifecycle is advantageousExperience in defence digital systemsMust hold a current NV1 security clearance to be successfulAPPLY NOW - Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience with Communications Engineering tools and knowledge of ADF Platforms, capabilities, and limitations.
