What you'll be doing Perform Radiation Therapy simulation, planning, treatment, patient care, quality assurance and quality control, as an accredited practitioner. Where you'll be working MNCCI operates a one district model over 2 sites - Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. Each site has 2 Elekta linacs, a superficial machine and a Siemens CT scanners. The successful applicant will be located at our Coffs Harbour site. MNCCI offers a full range of treatment options, including a comprehensive SABR program and tattooless treatments utilizing SGRT.
To be successful in this role you will need to bring strong clinical experience and be able to collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care is delivered.

A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS. Appropriate Bachelor Degree and eligible for general registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a radiation therapist. Demonstrated experience with dual energy linear accelerators with multi-leaf collimation, electronic verification imaging, and experience with CT interfacing 3D treatment planning systems. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, visitors and other stakeholders Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative to work successfully in small teams. Demonstrated ability to cope with dynamic and changing work practises. Demonstrate understanding of current Radiation Therapy, QA and radiation safety principles and practices and identify future developments in the profession.
