Looking for a more senior position in a successful and exciting stable? We now seek reliable staff for both our Mornington and Flemington stables. Roles available immediately in Mornington and late January for Flemington.
Our staff are an integral part of Jason Warren Racing Stables. We now seek experienced hands staff to join our team. We require strong and motivated staff to help run our stable. The successful applicant will be a competent horseman/woman who has a strong passion for the Racing Industry and experience managing a stable in a similar role. However, applicants looking to take their next step in their career, having shown a willingness to learn and a keen work ethic in previous roles, are also encouraged to apply. Excellent communication & time management skills, and experience working with young horses, will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities Taking responsibility for administering medications Preparing horses for trackwork Identifying and managing injuries Assisting with vet work Overseeing feeding Assisting with rostering and recruitment Providing feedback to the Trainers regarding the general welfare of horses day to day Drivers licence and ability to drive a float would be an advantage.
