Grove Racing competes in the Australian Supercars Championship and GT racing.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic engineer to join our team and lead our GT and Porsche Carrera Cup car team as a race engineer.We are seeking an individual who is driven and wants to lead, coordinating and developing all performance aspects of our GT3 and Porsche Carrera Cup programs.
You will have an unwavering determination to win and be an open, honest and communicative team player.
Based in our newly renovated facility in Braeside Victoria, you will travel to all Australian GT and Porsche Carrera Cup rounds where you will be responsible for the performance of the car and lead a team of mechanics.This role will be responsible for:Managing the engineering of our car and drivers at all events and test days in Australian GT and Porsche Carrera Cup programsPrepare performance plan for each event and test daysExtract the maximum performance from the car and driver at each eventAnalyse, plan and execute race strategyCoordinating the service and maintenance schedules of the carWork within the team to collectively develop the engineering capability of the teamRequired Knowledge and attributes:Engineering Degree or equivalent qualifiedProven high level race engineering or performance engineering experienceStrong science, physics and data driven work ethicGood communication skills, able to coordinate and lead a group of peopleWork calmly and make sound decisions in high pressure situationsManage workload efficiently to meet deadlinesOperate in a positive & professional manner and support your colleaguesThis is a fantastic full-time role with the opportunity to become a key part of our engineering team.
