We're thrilled to announce that our Aged Care Assessment Services ('ACAS') team is expanding, creating exciting opportunities! ACAS positions offer flexibility and autonomy and are based across both metropolitan and regional locations, with most roles involving local travel within each region.
What will your role look like? As an Assessor you'll be out and about in your Region visiting and completing Residential Aged Care (RAC) Funding Assessments using the AN-ACC Assessment Tool.
Day to day this includes:
Assessments for New residentsRespite careReconsideration and palliative AN-ACC AssessmentTo be successful in this role you'll need:
A kind heart and genuine passion for the elderlyA Tertiary qualification in a health related discipline with the relevant current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration. Suitable for a Registered Nurse, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with 5 years experience delivering clinical services in an aged care settingCurrently have or willing to obtain the RAC Funding Assessor accreditation.Demonst rated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles and Quality of Care principlesThe ability to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team while maintaining focusTechnologically savvyCurrent unrestricted Class C NSW/ACT Drivers license with access to a reliable motor vehicleWillingness to apply for a Police CheckWhat we can offer you:
