About the company/role:Based in Western Sydney, our client is a well-known 'ready-to-eat' meal manufacturer selling to all major retailers across Australia. The R&D technologist will develop and implement new and optimised products, processes and packaging.Responsibilities include:Development and implementation of new products, processes and packagingProject management from initiation through to completionRunning factory trials accurately and to production scheduleAdministration and data recording of all trial informationLiaise with members of various departmentsSkills & experience:Degree qualifications in Food Science or equivalent essentialRecent experience in a product development role with 'ready-to-eat' meals and meat productsProven understanding of all legislative requirements required for labelling and productsCreative and ability to think outside the box combined with a positive, driven and determined personalityAbility to work in a fast-moving environmentLiaise and communicate with stakeholders at all levelsBenefits:This is a full-time permanent role that offers a competitive salary and career progression.
