About The Company/role
Based in Western Sydney, our client is a well-known 'ready-to-eat' meal manufacturer selling to all major retailers across Australia. The R&D technologist will develop and implement new and optimised products, processes and packaging.
Responsibilities Include
Development and implementation of new products, processes and packaging Project management from initiation through to completion Running factory trials accurately and to production schedule Administration and data recording of all trial information Liaise with members of various departments
Skills & Experience
Degree qualifications in Food Science or equivalent essential Recent experience in a product development role with 'ready-to-eat' meals and meat products Proven understanding of all legislative requirements required for labelling and products Creative and ability to think outside the box combined with a positive, driven and determined personality Ability to work in a fast-moving environment Liaise and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
