Product Management & Development (Information & Communication Technology)We are seeking a passionate forward-thinking R&D Director to join our highly successful Property & Rating (P&R) group to enhance the already powerful P&R capabilities for revenue, billing, and regulatory management.You will lead multiple teams that innovate, design and build quality software to improve the experience of our Local Government and Government customers allowing them to serve their customers and communities more effectively in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.What you'll be doing…?Drive the delivery team - Architects, Business Analysts, Testers and Developers, to deliver roadmap milestones on time and to budget at the required quality level for product releases.Drive their Team to adhere to the defined methodology and enterprise guidelines including but not limited to architecture, security, programming and quality management.Continuously develop and enhance industry knowledge to provide insights and thought leadership around software concepts and configuration.Partner with the Product and Industry leadership team and wider business to continuously enhance TechnologyOne's products and solutions.Utilise input from customers, market research, technological advancements and trends to understand customer needs to be able to provide meaningful and innovative input to the Product Roadmap.Work closely with the Product Success Director and Product Success team to ensure software delivered aligns to the business case and to facilitate required Development Methodology activities.Optimise management of resources and reduce duplication in line with deliverable priorities, time frames, cost, people and skills needed.Drive and manage the team to continually improve the software.Partner Account Management for offshore team (where relevant).Deep technical knowledge gained through proven successful technical software experience (TechnologyOne specific - ideal).Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to anticipate and effectively resolve complex issues, providing opportunities to stretch individuals and teams to work together whilst linking to strategy and department initiatives.Communication capability, proactively shares information & resources to better leverage capabilities across teams, communicating difficult messages sensitively and in a supportive manner.Commercial acumen, executes against key deliverables aligned to strategy, mitigating or escalating commercial issues & risks identified.Thorough understanding and application of security and privacy of software.Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively and maturely communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with stakeholders across all levels.TechnologyOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who values diversity and an inclusive workplace.
