About The Role-

As an R&D Chemist, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring the development of high-performing skincare products.
This position involves creating and refining formulations that meet international compliance standards, managing testing processes such as stability and efficacy, and overseeing the scale-up from laboratory prototypes to full-scale production.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Operations, and Production, to troubleshoot challenges, improve processes, and ensure the successful launch of products both locally and internationally.
The role is based in the northern suburbs in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities Include-

Researching and developing innovative concepts in collaboration with the Head of Research.Troubleshooting manufacturing out-of-specifications with cross-departmental teams.Leveraging R&D software platforms such as Coptis and TeamGantt for project management.Providing technical support for quality and compliance matters, including assisting in facility builds.Advising on ingredient specifications, INCI lists, and customer queries as needed.Requirements-
A degree in Chemistry or a related field.Minimum of 1-2 years of proven formulation experience in personal care or skincare.Prior experience with sunscreen and colour formulations is preferable.A strong ability to translate ideas from concept to laboratory to manufacturing.Working knowledge of TGA, FDA, EU, and international compliance standards.Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.If you are passionate about driving innovation and research and innovation we'd love to hear from you.
