Your new opportunity:
As a Principal Policy Officer, you will play a key role in driving the Queensland Government's intergovernmental relations agenda. You will provide expert advice on national policy, agreements, Commonwealth-State financial arrangements, and legislation. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, lead projects, and manage crucial government processes.
In this role, you will: Provide strategic advice on intergovernmental relations and national policy. Analyse and interpret complex information to inform decision-making. Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders. Lead and contribute to high-profile projects and initiatives. Monitor and evaluate policy outcomes and recommend improvements. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in policy development. What experience you will bring: Strong communication and relationship management abilities. Strong experience in policy development and analysis. Knowledge of intergovernmental relations and national policy frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead projects and manage government processes. Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
