The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and advice in support of Kunwarara and Parkhurst operations. They provide an important link between the engineering and operations teams on electrical and energy related topics. Duties include managing a mix of capital and reliability projects from concept to implementation to enable continuous and sustainable operation of the plants.

Provide technical advice and engineering support to the operations and maintenance teams Manage and assist in Opex and Capex projects, including but not limited to project work scopes, budgets and capital requests, and site installation management Assist in developing scope of works for contractors and engineering review of technical issues Identify and implement opportunities to improve electrical system and equipment reliability including equipment lifecycle management Perform failure investigations and plant performance analysis for optimisation opportunities The Requirements We are looking for someone who has the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering Minimum five (5) years' experience in heavy industrial processing environments Experience in project delivery from concept to execution Experience and knowledge of maintaining HV and LV distribution and switchgear Highly Desirable: Qualifications in project management Knowledge of maintenance and asset management strategies and activities Experience in working in continuous production plants Experience working with SCADA and DCS/PLCs Experience in identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects QMAG Benefits and Culture You can look forward to working within an inclusive corporate culture that puts people first and always ensures our employees' health and safety.
