New Bundaberg Hospital Project, Bundaberg or Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospital
An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Principal Project Officer (Contracts and Procurement) to join the New Bundaberg Hospital Project Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.
The Principal Project Officer (Contracts and Procurement) will have an integral role in coordinating and delivering procurement activities for the provision of goods and services and the management of contracts and agreements for the new Bundaberg Hospital project (NBHP) and other associated capital infrastructure projects within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The position will provide a specialist procurement and contracts management service for approved WBHHS capital infrastructure projects for commercial agreements and leases, furniture, fittings, and equipment (FF&E), engagement of consultants, and maintenance contracts. Secondary to the procurement and contracts management role, the position will assist with the general coordination and delivery of capital projects. This position reports directly to the Executive Director, New Bundaberg Hospital Project (NBH). Temporary Full time (76 hours p.f.) Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $166,569 p.a., comprising salary between $5,214.20 - $5,595.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Temporary Full time 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension).
