Your opportunity The Nursing Director Clinical Excellence Unit - Safety and Quality is part of the senior management team for medical and nursing services in the HHS. Responsible for building organisational capability and the provision of strategic leadership for nursing and non-clinical service and governance structures. Collaborate with the Executive team, support the Strategic Plan 2020-2024 and provide divisional responsibility for nursing staff across Nursing and HHS Education services. Operational and professional responsibility for nursing/midwifery, administration staff and functions in their portfolio. This role contributes to operational objectives to achieve best practice outcomes and proactively identifies progressive approaches to deliver operational improvements, improve nursing practice, enhance patient experience and safety, and consistently improve performance, based on evidence-based practice. This role requires advanced clinical knowledge and advanced leadership and management experience. About the Team The MHHS Safety and Quality service is part of the Clinical Excellence Unit and provides an integrated model of service delivery to the HHS and the community it serves. A Safe and Quality Service delivered by skilled staff is the primary aim.
