Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals, two of the leading healthcare facilities in the Wide Bay region, are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Director to join our dedicated leadership team.
As Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational success of both hospitals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across a diverse and growing community.
You will lead with a focus on excellence, innovation, and collaboration, and work closely with a dedicated team of medical professionals, hospital staff, and stakeholders to drive improved health outcomes.

Your opportunity:
The Executive Director – Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is directly accountable for the overall performance of the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals, within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS).
This will include financial, activity, service access, patient flow and clinical governance related performance indicators as defined in the content of this job description.
The Executive Director will manage a budget of approximately $210 million, directly be responsible for 1500 staff across the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals and be responsible for all clinical and operational support, and human resource issues of the Division.
Contract position (76 hours p.f.)
for three (3) years with the possibility of extension.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $247,221 p.a., comprising salary between $181,052 - $188,781 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%) and motor vehicle allowance of $26,520.
