Clinical Midwife Consultant - Supporting Healthier Pregnancies Are you passionate about improving health outcomes and supporting healthier pregnancies? Join the Darling Downs Health team as a Clinical Midwife Consultant – Supporting Healthier Pregnancies and make a real difference in the Toowoomba region. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and the Chief Midwife Officer's office to implement a program focused on equitable, preventive healthcare for vulnerable communities. Each day will bring a variety of meaningful challenges as you provide leadership and support in delivering high-quality, patient-centric care. You'll work alongside a diverse team of health professionals, reviewing and developing care plans that address the unique needs of each individual. Your expertise will guide the implementation of preventive health practices, ensuring equitable access to services for those most in need. You'll facilitate training and mentorship for colleagues, helping them build their skills and confidence in providing the best care possible. Throughout the day, you'll engage with community partners, refining systems and pathways that ensure people receive the right care at the right time. You'll also lead efforts to improve health equity, strengthening cultural safety and inclusivity in the delivery of services. Your role will be instrumental in shaping a collaborative, supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
