Position: Senior Dental Assistant
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary Full-time from 24/03/2025 up to 30/11/2025 (with the possibility of extension - not exceeding 12 months in total)
Location: Oral Health Services, Women's and Children's Service Group, Townsville
What's on offer?
Remuneration package of up to $7734 p.m.
Salary range: $2916.00 to $3118.00 p.f. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (CA4).
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
Plus Salary Sacrificing options and flexible working arrangements may be available.
About the role:
The Senior Dental Assistant role is ideal for individuals who are organised, proactive, and demonstrate a high level of diligence and self-motivation.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing clinical and supervisory leadership to ensure Dental Assistants meet performance objectives, collaborating with the Oral Health Service Senior Management team to ensure the effective delivery of clinical activities and processes, and participating in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a highly skilled and efficient workforce.
Role requirements:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
