Your Opportunity
We have one (1) exciting opportunity available to join our Educational Delivery Support (EDS) team at our Bracken Ridge campus for the following dates: fixed term temporary from 17 February 2025 until 23 March 2025. You may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
The Operational Supervisor, EDS is responsible for:
Providing leadership and day-to-day supervision of employees and operational activities within the EDS function, ensuring that key performance indicators are achieved. Building partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to establish a single point of contact for the management of operational matters related to the EDS function. Developing, maintaining, and reviewing processes and procedures, incorporating feedback from a range of internal and external stakeholders and implementing best practice approaches. This position reports to the Operational Manager, EDS and is directly responsible for the supervision of a team of EDS officers.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the success of cultural change within the organisation through promoting and modelling the established TAFE Queensland values of Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility, Showing Initiative, and Safety First. Coordinate and monitor the operational activities of the EDS team, including providing clear direction on the allocation of resources, prioritisation of tasks, and compliance with approved processes in order to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved by the team. Work in collaboration with the Operational Manager, EDS to ensure the efficient and effective operation and management and development of a high-performing EDS team. Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance with statutory obligations. Work in partnership with external stakeholders to identify and build business opportunities and efficiencies. Engage collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and develop effective EDS processes. Generate and analyse business performance reports to inform strategic decision-making processes. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through timely and appropriate management of complaints. Operate as a collaborative member of the EDS leadership group, proactively seeking and acting upon opportunities to enhance working relationships. Requirement
Highly desirable: Leadership experience in a high-performing, multifaceted, and changing team environment.

Ability to effectively manage and supervise operational activities and performance. Comprehensive knowledge of TAFE Queensland's student management systems and relevant legislation.
