In this recently established position, we are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide high quality, confidential administrative and executive support to the CFO.
You will have experience working in a complex and changing environment, strong interpersonal skills, and strong financial administration capabilities.
You will also be required to support the team leaders in the unit.
About The Team
Finance, Procurement and Property Services (FPPS) is a branch of Corporate Services responsible for providing services to our clients in the delivery of their accountabilities.
About The Role

Provide high-quality, confidential administrative and executive support to the CFO, promoting excellence and continuous improvement.
Manage the CFO's calendar, correspondence, and emails, ensuring priorities are addressed and responses prepared promptly.
Coordinate and prepare key documents, including ministerial, parliamentary, and executive briefs.
Support the Office of the CFO (OCFO) by managing shared mailboxes, correspondence flow, and quality assurance of information.
Oversee planning and tracking of deliverables to ensure timely completion of CFO and business unit commitments.
Develop and implement executive support systems and procedures for efficient office management.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain effective relationships on behalf of the CFO.
Contribute to the business and administrative operations of the OCFO, including supporting change management, scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements; and organising catering as required.
What you will bring to the role
Proficiency in programs such as Aurion ACE, SAP and MinCor.
Strong attention to detail to provide a high level QA function of material issued through to the CFO.
Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders to ensure appointments, meetings, and deadlines are adhered to.
Previous experience in a finance-related function will be highly desirable.
