About the role
Provide effective, efficient and professional administration support to the delivery of interpreter and translation services to MNHHS patients and carers who are not proficient in English or hearing impaired.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Ability to adapt to ongoing change and service needs to ensure continuous improvement in processes whilst providing quality care and support. Use high level verbal and written communication skills to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings to liaise closely with Metro North work units and external language service providers. Possess the skills to use a range of technology and the ability to quickly learn various computer programs used throughout Queensland Health, including the 'Interpreter Management System' (IMS). Perform other tasks as required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Language Services Unit. Health Equity
