About the role: As the Psychologist, you will:
Provide professional support and information for students, parents, carers and school communities that facilitate partnerships in decision making for the enhancement of all students' learning.
Provide services such as counselling, assessment and intervention, focusing on students' mental health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct assessments and deliver individual or group interventions remotely.
Collaborate with school staff via telehealth to develop and implement mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
Provide expert advice and strategies to address emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
Utilise technology to foster strong, meaningful connections and support inclusive school communities.

Thrive in a role with a varied caseload, particularly focusing on mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Bring experience in a similar role, with a background in working with young people considered a strong advantage.
Be highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team.

Given that this service will be delivered remotely, there is opportunity for the successful candidate to be based in a Department of Education facility in a range of locations across the Darling Downs South West Region, with the specific location to be negotiated depending on suitability.
