About Theodore State School (P-10)
Theodore State School is a Band 7, P-10 school located in the Central Coast District of the Fitzroy Central West Region in central Qld and belongs to the Dawson cluster of schools. The school has a long and proud history, having been opened in 1924. The Secondary Department opened in 1960. The student population is 114 at present with 93 in Years Prep to 6 and 21 in Years 7 to 10. The school services the town of Theodore and associated rural communities. Theodore is located on the Dawson River 105 km south-west of Biloela and 50 km south of Moura.
About The Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Be an active participant in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development. Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
