Financial Performance Reporting in Finance, Procurement and Facilities Division are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join their Financial Accounting and Reporting and Asset Accounting teams. This temporary opportunity is available for a six-month period, unless otherwise determined.

Your Role:
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your ability against the full list of key capabilities outlined in the attached role description, including:
Lead the preparation of the department's general purpose and specific purpose financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards, relevant financial management legislation, and Queensland Treasury and departmental guidelines.
Lead the asset accounting function (including managing the annual asset revaluation process) and ensure integrity of the fixed asset register and compliance with relevant Australian Accounting Standards, Non-Current Asset Policies and departmental guidelines.
Manage periodic and ad-hoc reporting to Queensland Treasury and other government agencies.
Oversee the end of month process, preparation of reconciliations, working papers to ensure the integrity of the department's general ledger and financial reports.
Encourage and enable the learning opportunities, cross skilling, building of operational capabilities and professional expertise within the team.
