The Queensland business unit delivers Civil, Environmental Remediation, Demolition and Asbestos Removal projects right across the state ranging in value from $1m to $30m.

Work Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: BrisbaneAbout The Role:With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an Administrator to join our team with a positive, solutions focused attitude, exceptional time management skills and experience leading a small team. Reporting directly to the Queensland General Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the business unit with all administrative aspects.
This will include, but is not limited to:
Processing progress claims, invoices and monthly payments for debtors and creditors including raising purchase ordersInputting project budgets, variations and assisting with monthly financial forecasting and reportsFacilitating human resource activities including recruitment, training, onboarding/offboarding employees and processing weekly employee timesheetsDrafting all internal business unit communications as directedCoordination and drafting of reports to key stakeholders and management of internal meetingsAssisting with tender submissions and project file managementManaging travel and accommodation bookings as neededAssisting with event management and planningGeneral office managementAssisting projects with record keeping and project administrationAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in using Project Management platforms such as Pronto XI, Procore, Aconex and Adobe (or similar) and a range of Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExperience managing human resources matters and handling confidential informationProven experience managing project financials, debtors and creditorsExperience developing internal processes and documentation systemsAbility to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional mannerPrevious experience in the building and construction services sector is advantageousAs an employer who embraces equal opportunity and diversity, we strongly encourage female, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
