Quarry Operator | Canberra Quarry We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at our Canberra Quarry, situated in Williamsdale, 40kms south of Canberra.
This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager and is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday, up to 12 hours per day. Your current roster will see your day starting at 6:15am and finishing at 5pm. Saturday work will be according to business needs.
We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a varied role in crushing plant operations, general maintenance duties and weighbridge attendant.
Experience with mobile plant preferred, however training will be provided in the operation and maintenance of the fixed plant. All you need is a 'can do' attitude. In your new role with us, you will: Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks (rigid), Front End Loaders (Sales Loader experience using load right is preferred) and Excavators Operating the crushing and screening plant General fixed plant maintenance and inspections During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed to get the job done This role is a great fit for you if you have: Hold ticket/s to relevant quarry machinery - desirable but not essential if you're willing to learn!
