With a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship, we are paving the way for future generations.Role Overview:As a Quarry Mining Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, developing, and overseeing quarry operations.
You will be responsible for optimizing extraction methods, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining safety standards while driving operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Resource Evaluation and PlanningConduct assessments of aggregate deposits in collaboration with geologists and engineers to determine feasibility and optimal extraction methods.Develop detailed extraction plans considering geological characteristics, depth, and surrounding strata.Use advanced modeling and simulation tools to optimize mining processes.Project Costing and SchedulingPrepare and monitor operational budgets, cost estimates, and production schedules.Analyze production data to ensure progress aligns with planned outputs and financial targets.Design and ImplementationDevelop layouts for excavation sites, tunnels, and chambers to optimize resource recovery and minimize environmental impact.Oversee the design and construction of mine shafts and other critical infrastructure.Risk ManagementIdentify and evaluate technical, environmental, financial, and safety risks associated with all phases of operations.Implement mitigation strategies to minimize hazards, including slippage, rock falls, and operational delays.Safety and ComplianceEnsure mining operations adhere to all statutory and safety regulations.Develop and enforce procedures to maintain the stability of mine walls and the safety of workers.Operational ManagementPlan and manage the allocation of workforce and machinery to achieve production efficiency.Monitor and adjust operations to meet statutory and environmental guidelines.Research and InnovationDrive continuous improvement by integrating advanced technologies and innovative practices into quarry operations.Provide technical expertise and recommendations for improving extraction and processing efficiency.Collaboration and ReportingCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental specialists, and regulatory bodies.Report regularly on production metrics, operational costs, and project progress to stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.At least 2 years' experience in quarry or mining operations.Proficiency in mining software (e.g., AutoCAD, Surpac, or similar).Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Class C Drivers LicenseShotfiring LicenseWhy Join Us?:Competitive salary and benefits package between $90,000 - $140,000.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Be part of a team committed to innovation and sustainability.Work on exciting projects in a dynamic industry.How to Apply:Ready to make an impact?
