Nexgen Crushing and Screening are seeking a Qualified Quarry Manager Position will initially be casual but once proven it can evolve into a Full Time Role.
Location initially will be in Kalgoorlie and then will migrate to our jobs in the Pilbara and further up north. Candidates will need to fly out of Perth.
What we offer to you: Between $60 to $70 per hour for Quarry Management WorkFamily Friendly Roster - Initially 5 days on 2 days off out of Perth - possibly moving to 2 weeks on 2 weeks offRegular Pay ReviewsClose teamNexgen Crushing and Screening require the candidate to supply the following: Full medical no older than 6 monthsLab DAS no older than 28 daysNational Police Clearance no older than 3 monthsAll qualifications, certificates and ticketsThis role is responsible for supporting NGC, by: Involvement in the Quarry planning, directing, coordinating, managing and directly supervising the day-to-day operational and logistics activities within NGC, which involves (but may not be limited to):
o Organising the Quarry mobilisation and demobilisation of people, vehicles, plant, equipment, and other resources to enable operational activities at the Quarry to meet legal compliance obligations whilst achieving production targets, which includes activities for haulage, drill & blast, and workshop servicing & maintenance.
o Interact with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, Other NGC Department Managers (including the Director) and the Quarry's Mine Manager/SSE on a regular basis to ensure the Quarry's operational plans and Quarry Statutory requirements align and are met.Responsibilities People, Teamwork and CommunicationOperationsReportingBudgeting, Planning and StrategyWHSEQ - systems, processes and complianceAccountabilities
To be successful in this role, you will be accountable for:
1. Achieving Quarry Statutory compliance
2. Ensuring the department delivers on NGC's Objectives (including WHSEQ Objectives and Targets);
3. Demonstrating unequivocal workplace WHSE&Q leadership;
4. Ensuring compliance to the NGC Integrated Management System (IMS) at the Quarry;
5. Contributing to continual improvement and review of the NGC's IMS (for legal compliance aspects at the Quarry); and
6. Leading by example, fostering good culture and meeting personal development objectives.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Five years' experience in a leadership/senior role within a Quarry environment.Experience in Quarry equipment operations (e.g. Excavator, Crushing & Conveying Plant etc)A Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate or equivalentIf you feel you possess all of the above skills and experience, please press APPLY now!
