Quarry Manager – SSE Castlereagh Quarry is a Hard Rock Quarry, located 5km from Cloncurry, Qld.
It is a key source of all quarry products for Northwest and Central Queensland.
Wagners are seeking an enthusiastic manager to oversee its quarry operations.

The successful candidate/s will be responsible for but not limited to: Representing as the Site SSE and ensuring conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site Determine production schedules around sales forecasts Leading a dynamic and diverse team Oversee and manage maintenance schedules to coordinate plant shutdowns and ensure breakdowns are responded to in a timely manner Reporting on production and operations to management on a daily basis Ongoing organisation and preparation for Quarry expansion Strong communication skills to communicate/interact with management, vendors and personnel Achieve budgeted production costs and production KPI's About you – skills & experience SSE Qualification (highly desirable) Diploma of Surface Operations Management QLD Safe Drill and Blast Course Current S1,2,3 Certification or willingness to obtain Solid experience in a supervisory role in a quarry/mine Trainer/Assessor competency (advantageous) Demonstrate a strong culture of safety leadership and a working knowledge of Safety Proven experience in mobile crushing operations Demonstrate competent computer skills including basic spread sheets, electronic reporting and weighbridge operation.
