As the Quarry Manager , you will oversee operations at a key site in the Hunter Region, close to beautiful lifestyle locations such as Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.
Reporting to the Quarry Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of site management, including:
P&L and Cost Control Production Planning , Processing, Drill & Blast Fostering strong customer relationships Leading the safety culture and ensuring compliance with legislation Building and maintaining partnerships with internal stakeholders and the local community What we're looking for:
Appropriate Quarry Management qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications A minimum of a Tier II Quarry Manager Practicing Certificate for above-ground mines (other than coal) Diploma (or equivalent) in Extractive Industries or Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Work Health and Safety Act, Protection of Environmental Operations Act, Mineral Resources Act, and more) Shot Firers Theory courses ideally Most importantly, we're seeking someone who is dynamic, energetic, and has a natural drive for safety.
