Reporting to the Quarry Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of site management, including:P&L and Cost ControlProduction Planning, Processing, Drill & BlastFostering strong customer relationshipsLeading the safety culture and ensuring compliance with legislationBuilding and maintaining partnerships with internal stakeholders and the local communityWhat we're looking for:Appropriate Quarry Management qualifications and/or tertiary qualificationsA minimum of a Tier II Quarry Manager Practicing Certificate for above-ground mines (other than coal)Diploma (or equivalent) in Extractive Industries or Certificate IV in Surface Extraction OperationsStrong knowledge of relevant legislation (Work Health and Safety Act, Protection of Environmental Operations Act, Mineral Resources Act, and more)Shot Firers Theory courses ideallyMost importantly, we're seeking someone who is dynamic, energetic, and has a natural drive for safety.
