The Opportunity We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Quarry Manager who is looking for the opportunity to be empowered to utilize their skills, delivering site maintenance and operational targets.
Implementing and mentoring step change processes into the business maximizing opportunities into the Coffs Harbour By-pass project and other civil projects in the region.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the quarry operation.
The role will require but is not limited to:
Ensuring site commitment to regulatory compliance and engagementMotivating and leading employees and contractors to achieve business resultsMaintaining and identifying systems to further improve business outcomesSafely managing maintenance to a unit rate while achieving production targetsDeveloping and executing monthly production/maintenance plans to service business & customer needsCollecting, displaying, and utilizing data with workforce engagement for improved outcomesConducting weekly meetings with key stakeholdersRequirements: Current Tier 2 Quarry Manager Practicing CertificatePrior hard rock Quarry Management experienceA history of working with and within quarrying regulations and requirementsSix Sigma or Lean knowledgeContractor Management ExperienceExperience in managing and processing of recycled productsCert IV training accreditation in a relevant field would be well regardedThe applicant will need experience in structured safety systems and ensure that these systems are maintained to meet both internal and external requirements.
