Quarry Maintenance Fitter

The role We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time Maintenance Fitter for our Sand Quarry at Penrose.
You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Ensure safety, health, and environment standards are maintained.Deliver mechanical maintenance services on site.Implement and carry out routine preventative maintenance.Participate in the maintenance program including preventative and corrective maintenance.Effectively respond to unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.Undertake tasks associated with maintenance shutdowns including planning and organizing as required.Contribute to the development and implementation of plans to drive continuous improvement.What you will need to succeed Trade Qualification - Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting with welding and machining competence.Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with mobile crushing and screening plants.Proven history in mechanical maintenance and repairs.Experience with Sand Washing Plants would be an advantage.Experience with operating Earthmoving Equipment is an advantage.EWP and Confined Space tickets or be willing to be trained.Computer literacy skills especially with Excel, Word, Outlook.A good understanding of computer systems including SAP would be highly regarded.Excellent communication ability with strong interpersonal skills.Willingness to work with a small team to achieve safety and production targets.A supportive and safe environment Adbri puts safety first and recognizes that diversity in our workforce drives innovation, encourages creativity, and better equips us to be Always Ready.
