You'll be based in our Greystone quarry in Launceston.You'll be working Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5:00, where you'll be crucial to keeping our site's electrical systems in top shape, machinery such as conveyors, screeners and crushers and much more!As part of our on-site team, you'll be responsible for the daily maintenance, servicing, and repair of essential production equipment to keep operations safe and running smoothly. You'll play a key role in our maintenance team, with great opportunities for growth and development.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to keep electrical equipment efficient, safe, and compliant, you'll be working on equipment such as drive motors, control panels, sensors, contactors, and relays.Take part in exciting project work, including upgrading existing systems like PLCs.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring timely fixes to minimise downtime.Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring work areas remain clean, organised, and hazard-free.Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components, from drive motors to control panels.Complete all necessary safety documentation for each maintenance task.Carry out lighting installations, from task lighting to high-level floodlights.Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on tools and equipment.Work on various electrical installations, including wiring buildings and fixed plant equipment.Receive guidance from senior team members to build new skills in areas like controls engineering.Who you areYou're a motivated professional who brings energy and enthusiasm to every project.
