As a key member of Archer's quantum technology team, you will assist in the development of Archer's next-generation qubit devices technology.
You'll focus on the development of spin qubit readout and microwave control protocols of our novel carbon-based qubit devices.
With a commercial focus, you'll work closely with our world class engineering team to deliver these next generation quantum technologies.
As Archer's Quantum Engineer, you'll - Perform quantum device measurements using a variety of characterisations and measurement techniquesDevelop qubit readout and control protocolsData analysis, using traditional or AI enhanced software toolkits Development of machine learning algorithms for feature recognition and efficient data acquisition.What you'll bring - A PhD or equivalent industry experience in the field of physics, engineering, or a related discipline Exceptional Technical Skills and Proficient in the following: Programming scientific experiments (Python or equivalent)Electrical measurement of semiconductor or superconducting quantum devicesData analysis and theoretical modelling of quantum devicesFamiliarity with a range of quantum computing architecturesPassion for creative problem-solving and commerical mindsetExcellent communication skills with ability to work independently as well as in a team.Nice to have's – Industry experienceExperience of control and readout of spin or superconducting qubit systemsExperience in AI enhanced data analyticsRF-reflectometry or microwave measurement of single-electron devices or superconducting resonatorsOperation and development of cryogenic experimentsExperience in the development of machine learning-based algorithms.Why join the Archer team?
