Job DescriptionThe WT Perth office continues to grow with high-profile new engagements landing across a broad range of sectors and with existing major projects underway and more in the pipeline. We're on the lookout for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the growing team.
This role will perform various traditional quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.
This role is responsible for:
Liaising with clients, architects and main contractorsIdentifying and facilitating new business opportunitiesMaster-plan and feasibility budgetsCost checking of developing designTender evaluations and analysisCash flow projectsProcurementCost reportingEvaluation of variationsValuationsFinal account reportingClaims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claimsInvestment analysisFormulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plansQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldExtensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ Cost XExperience managing a broad range of build projectsRICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regardedA thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception through to completion and post-project reviewAdditional InformationAt WT, in addition to your competitive salary we offer many perks including:
