The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in our Melbourne office.
Working across a range of projects, you will:
Work with an experienced and diverse teamReceive further training and opportunities for career developmentUndertake cost analysis and clearly communicate results with clients, architects and main contractorsLiaise with all external parties, including clients, architects and main contractorsDevelop master plan and feasibility budgetsUndertake cost checks of developing designEvaluate and analyse tender returnsAssist with contract negotiationsTake responsibility for procurement and cost reporting for assigned projectsWork with the senior team across multiple projectsAbout you To be successful in this role you will need to:
Have a Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration or Construction ManagementBe a certified quantity surveyor with AIQS or RICSMinimum 5-7 years' experience within the building industry or civil construction industryBe able to work in a team as well as autonomouslyConfident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skillsHave an enthusiasm and passion for the built environmentA can do attitude that focuses on solutions through innovative thinkingExperience in Social Housing/Health/Data Centres/Education Sectors is highly desirableAbout North We are a medium-sized consultancy with a passion for what we do!
