This role is responsible for: Conduct on-site measurement, take-offs, and pricing of construction projectsPrepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentsLiaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate pricingManage project costs and budgets, including forecasting and analysisProvide cost advice and recommendations to the project team and clientsManage change orders and variations to the contractReview and negotiate contract terms and conditionsMonitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delaysProvide mentoring and guidance to junior team membersMaintain accurate project documentation, including measurement books and cost reportsContinuously develop technical knowledge and skills to stay up to date with industry trends and best practicesQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldExtensive experience in cost estimating and planning software / Cost XExperience managing a broad range of build projectsRICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regardedA thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception, through to completion and post-project reviewAdditional InformationAt WT, in addition to your competitive salary we offer many perks including:
